Pretty in pink for Mother's Day

I've been working on Mother's Day cards for the bazaar that's coming up. I actually got the inspiration for this one from a Christmas card that I made years ago. I love chocolate brown with pink!!
get more info on this stamp set or purchase it HERE This set has been used, abused, and used some more. You know how sometimes you are so thankful that you bought something? Like it's a member of the family or something? Well, that's this set. SERIOUSLY. No jokes here. Hands down-----> BEST SET EVER. This set is retiring, BTW, get it before it's gone!
get more info or purchase this frame punch HERE Stampin' Up! has these great flat punches (which I'm in love with!!) that store in my drawers so easily! This punch even has coordinating stamp sets for a perfect match. Check them out!!

shabby valentine

the valentine card i made last was cute, but so clean!! i just couldn't deal with it, so i had to make a shabby one! it's just not "jenn" if it's not ink distressed :)

many layers to this card, most of which i used tim holtz walnut stain on. the patterned bird and heart are from a SU (stampin' up!) set, so is the script that is stamped onto the patterened paper. the ticket stamp is a new one. well, not new, i've had it for about a year and half and never taken it out of it's package. it's from invoke arts and they have some great stuff! check them out here.

clean & simple

it's about that time of year again to think of love. when i think of lovey cards, i always go back to black, white & red. i just adore that color combination, so classy!

i made this for a Valentines party invitation for Sharon Care Center. and this has to be one of the most simple cards, only 2 pieces of paper, 2 stamps, 2 ribbons (well, one lace, one ribbon) and some stickles. clean & simple! ---which it usually not my style at all, so i'm amazed that it turned out cute AND i actually like it!!

these were lots of fun, but then again, i LOVE to get down and inky!!

Fairy birthday card

this card was made for the sweetest little girly on her birthday. she is an absolute princess, BUT, this little fairy stamp is the closest i have to a princess. after i colored her with blender pens & chalk, i used sakura glitter pens & stickles to make it sparkle, just like her personality does.

happy birthday, charley!

White on white happiness card

Went for a simple white-on-white card. Are you surprised there's no ink distressing? Well I was told to "branch out", so I'm trying the cleaner look. I prefer inky over clean, just saying.

Stamps are from stampin' up, stamped in a black stazon ink. I used stickles on the flowers to give it some dimension and sparkle. Turned out ok, I wanted to ink it all up and make it shabby soooo bad! =)

Girl bday invite

Made this for my daughters birthday invitations. The only thing she cared about was pink glitter, and that image (girl walking the poodle).

The image is from the stampin up set "she's all that". I stamped her in versamark ink and heat embossed her with a mixture of black embossing powder and pink glitter. I used 3 little dots of pink stickles on the edge of her paper. The sentiment, "let's party", is part of a michaels dollar bin acrylic set. I stamped it in pink and wrote over it with my sakura glitter pen. The edges of the black paper underneath are scalloped with my martha stewart rolling handheld scallopper.

Patterned paper is k & co. Best place to get this is michaels with your 40% off coupon, just fyi. Ribbon is also from michaels.

well she liked it, I think its adorable, let's hope they make it to the parents!
